Welcome to Blackman Signature Designs™. We are a professional design firm specializing in Graphical User Interfaces (GUI's) for various touch panel and remote control manufacturers including AMX™, Crestron™, Universal Remote Control™, RTI™, Command Fusion™, Ness™, BitWise Controls™ and Philips™. Our touch panels have been featured on TV shows such as MTV Cribs™ and VH1's Insane Celebrity Real Estate™ and several home theater and home automation magazines. Electronic House™ features new custom theaters every month and our templates have appeared in many of them over the years.

We have streamlined and simplified our entire website and are now offering templates for Crestron, AMX, CommandFusion / iViewer, URC and RTI directly from our online store. Our goal is to supply integrators with state of the art touch panel templates at affordable prices. You can now purchase packages of templates in all available resolutions for one low price. We have added new resolutions for many of our designs, creating a complete set for large residential and commercial projects that contain multiple touch panel resolutions.

All new Fusion 2.0 template now available for the URC MX-3000, MX-5000 and MX-6000

We have completely re-designed the Fusion template to include larger buttons and multiple pages, a huge set of 240+ activity icons, 40 optional backgrounds and 1400+ preset channel icons. The new design features multiple pages for each source, allowing for easy navigation and eliminating accidental button presses. We have also added updated pages for AppleTV and many other popular sources. You can download a working MX-3000 demo from the URC page that can be opened in the MX-3000 editor. You can view all the pages and run the file in the emulator to test drive before you decide to purchase.

RTiPanel templates for iPad - iPhone & iPod Touch

BC4 templates for the Apple iPad and iPhone / iPod Touch are now available at Blackman Signature Designs

We have just teamed up with BitWise Controls to provide templates created specifically for the BitWise BC4 Project Editor. Our most popular design has been re-worked for both the iPad and iPhone / iPod Touch and can be used with the Bitwise app that is available from the Apple store. You can use these templates right on your Apple device or convert them to HTML so they can be used on your PC, netbook, or any networked device that has a web browser.

Both templates include a full set of activity icons in two sizes, plus additional colored and themed backgrounds for customization. The built in IR database along with drag and drop features for adding IR codes and other commands makes it very easy for veteran programmers and hobbyists to transform our templates into a working control system in a very short amount of time.

iFusion has arrived for CommandFusion / iViewer

BSD has just ported our Fusion template for use with the CommandFusion iViewer software suite. The CommandFusion GUI editor allows for swipe menus and dual orientation pages, which we have included in templates for both the iPhone / iPod touch and iPad.

We were able to create a design that shares source subpages, icons, and side menu buttons for both landscape and portrait, which makes it extremely easy to edit for your personal and client projects. All of the activity icons and page buttons are already in the GUI editor library so all you need to do is use the drop down menus and select a new button or background to change it's appearance.
