Al Corbi, President of SAFE, created the science of modern day ballistic resistant security for residences, corporate headquarters and superyachts in response to the global need for ultimate protective systems. Corbi began designing security systems in 1971 with the then unique approach of isolating the client while documenting the event, then managing the threat. In 1975 Al Corbi took on a parallel assignment designing secret and secure installations for the U.S. Department of Justice, other U.S. agencies and Governments worldwide. For over three decades Corbi's marriage of private and public sector experience has provided his clients the most effective security solutions in the world, for any level of threat, while making him uniquely qualified in this field.

Blackman Signature Designs was selected to create the Graphical Interfaces used to manage and control his security systems. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to show any custom work done for clients which would compromise security, but you can view the interface we designed for Al's 10,000 square foot Hollywood estate (below).

Al invited us out to stay at his 6000 square foot guest house (right) to discuss what would the new security projects would entail. The view facing west overlooks the entire Los Angeles basin. The world famous Hollywood sign above Sunset Boulevard can be seen from the viewing area in his back yard.

When VH-1 came out to his estate to film a segment for a show called Insane Celebrity Real Estate, our touch panel designs were featured for several minutes showing the interface used to control the biometrics and titanium security doors. He also has a separate AMX 17" touch panel in the SAFE core to view any one of twelve cameras throughout the entire estate with an intuitive, easy to understand interface.

A wireless Modero MVP-8400i by AMX can be used to control the entire A/V system, whole house music, climate, and set the entire system to SAFE mode which instantly transforms the estate into the most secure home in America.
